Date Night

The first week of September was a VERY long week for all of us, so we decided to have a night out with our friends Ashley and Daniel.  We got sitters for all the kiddos and met up for dinner at the Rock.  For those of you who have never eaten there, they have some pretty darn good pizza!  The guys decided to start the night off right {uh huh} with something to drink...they each order the Rock's famous bucket.  The bucket is a mixed drink served in...you guessed it...a bucket.  LOL!  Daniel ordered the original Rock Bucket, which is 5 different rums and the drink usually tastes like a gummy bear, but that night they had gone a little heavy on the malibu, so it tasted more like a pina colada but I didn't hear him complaining!  James ordered the Long Island Bucket...and he liked it so much he ended up stealing the one Ashley and I were sharing!  {{eye roll}} Anyway, we had a great time at dinner, but decided we should probably head out of there before we got ourselves into trouble ;)  So off we went, and ended up on the west side of town over at Shankz Glow Golf.  I hate to say that Daniel walked away the victor...(He says, and I quote, "Uh, when don't I win?!!?") but he isn't a sore winner...really...(haha).  James came in second, I was third and {{I promise I love you, Ashley!!}} poor Ashley...(as usual) was last, and she made sure we all saw her pouting about it!  After mini golf, we headed to O'Blarneys so the guys could play some pool, while Ashley and I just sat back and relaxed.  It was a great evening, one that doesn't happen often at all and it definitely hit the spot after such a rough week!
